Taking the overnight ferry – Swansea to Cork, sleeping in a 4-berth cabin with windows. Starting from Marlay Park, just south of Dublin.
The Wicklow Way travels south west for some 80 miles (127 km) to end in the small county of Carlow Village of Clonegal. The Way combines a wide variety of scenic experiences and they include mountains, upland lakes, steep-sided glacial valleys, fast flowing mountain streams, some set in truly remote upland areas, forests and farmland.
Staying five nights at the five Star Glendalough International Hostel, through which the path passes and which is set amongst the beautiful tranquil Gledalough Valley (well known for the remains of an early Christian monastic settlement nearby).
The accommodation provides Bed, breakfast and evening meal.
Choice of breakfast - Full Irish, continental or healthy option.
