Sunday 13th to Saturday 19th May
Gower Coast - from Mumbles Head to Llanmadoc
27 miles of sea air with some of Britain’s best coastal walking will set you in good stead for the second part of the Beacons Way.
En-route you will pass castles, old churches, dramatic cliffs with prehistoric caves and some of the best beaches in the land.
Beacons Way
34 miles over 3 days, crossing the western area of the National Park, from Craig-y-nos country park to Llangadog.
In contrast to the popular Beacons and Black Mountains East this is a much less frequented area, being more rugged, wild and remote, but well worth the effort!
Day two from Llanddeusant across to Cerreg Cennen could prove a little tricky, testing your navigational skills.
There is an alternative low level road walk which can be seen on the OS map. If you are keen to take the high level route, but are a little apprehensive, I will look into the possibility of providing a leader.
You will be staying at Port Eynon and Llwyn y Celyn Youth Hostels.
