The walk is along the spectacular Heritage coast of Cardigan Bay linking the Pembrokeshire coast Path in the South with the Meirionnydd Coast Path in the North.. Some sections are fairly strenuous along cliff tops.
There are beaches, sandy bays and scenic resorts, coastal towns along the spectacular scenery of the Cardigan Bay coastline. Wild flowers, seabirds and a wealth of wildlife await the walker. The area’s rich history is much in evidence, from iron-age hill forts to 19th century harbours.
Ceredigion’s coastline is special. You will discover a rich coastline: the dune system at Ynyslas, storm beaches, sandy bays and high cliffs. Four sections are designated as Heritage Coast whilst two areas within Cardigan Bay are Marine Special Areas of Conservation because of their importance for wildlife.
